Michelin XZY?

They look like all terrain tires but has anyone heard of them before? And how come Michelin doesn't make mud tires for consumers?

They would be a great tire if you had a 18wheeler. They are truck tires with steel sidewall. They weigh a ton and ride like concrete.

As for Michelin making mud tires, they do, sort of. They are called BFG M/T. I guess there is not a big enough market for them to make a mud tire with their name on it. They also discontinued the Uniroyal M/T.

yeah, the uniroyal was one of the only non-bfg type tread m/ts out there and it got shot down the suggested "replacement" is the uniroyal aw/t or something, it looks like a damned street tire!

the michelin xl, xml, and xzl are popular with the guys on pirate4x4 because they're tough, cheap and HUGE
