Looking for specific "Daytona" wheels!

I have been shopping around for new wheels and tires since I bought my truck. I have decided on the ProComp Xtreme All-Terrain 31x10.5 tires. I have found a few pics of "Daytona" style wheels, and like them a lot:

http://www.uswheel.com/collections/c...chrome-daytona, and
http://www.alliedwheel.com/wheel.php?name=chr+daytona

If possible, I would like to go with 15x8 and preferably aluminum. 15x8 because I like the wider look, and aluminum because of rotational mass...I have only been getting 12.5 MPGs as it is on my stock 28" tall wheels, and I know moving up to 31" will negatively impact that.

My question is are there any Daytona style wheels that come in aluminum? Or, are there any wheels that are similar/close to the Daytona style that come in aluminum and will fit my truck? I searched around on various store's websites for aluminum wheels (4wheeparts, for example) but the only ones they have are 17"+ and barely any have the 6x5.5 bolt pattern!

If there aren't any Daytona style wheels that match what I am looking for, I will provide some pics of trucks that I really like (I have made it to page 247 of the Post Your Pics thread so far...still working to get to the end!).

Basically, something with a fairly deep lip and provides a "wide" stance (the first one is my favorite):

These are American Racing Outlaw II wheels. I have them on my '89. Summit Racing used to sell them and they pop up on Craigslist.

Can you take a stab at the specs of the ones in the pic? Width, backspacing, offset...

Black Rock Type D's are the aluminum Dwindows that I see, that are similar to Daytona style.

Are you looking for just Aluminum wheels? Or are the pics of other styles just for offset/backspacing info?

If there is a chrome Daytona style wheel that is made in aluminum, it is what I will buy. I like those Black Rocks, but I prefer chrome much more than black.

If a Daytona style wheel isn't made in aluminum with a chrome finish, then I am open to other styles options...if this be the case, I like wheels with a deep lip.

i haven't seen any chrome d-windows in aluminum, only steel. between steel wheels and aluminum you're averaging around 8-10lb difference in weight. Look on Summit Racing or Jegs, they have lots of styles of wheels to check out and have pretty good prices.

you're looking for something like this? (Cragar 351, steel wheels)

I don't know about that specific truck. Mine are 15 x 8 with 31 x 10.5 x 15 tires. No rub. My 4Runner is 1st gen.

Yes, that style is what I like...but in aluminum, even though I don't think there are any made.

And are you saying 8-10 lbs per wheel, or total for all 4?

8-10lb difference in weight between aluminum and steel -- per wheel, so figure 50lbs for all 5 since it's a good idea to have a full-size spare that matches a lot of the aluminum wheels are around 18-20lbs, the steel are around 28-30 depending on brand/style of course. just look up the specs for the specific wheels you want.

I got these from rimzoneonline.com for $339.96 shipped. Ironically, they were exactly what I was looking for and they just happen to be one of the cheapest aluminum wheels out there! And they come with lugs and valve stems for free.

Here are the specs:
Ion Style 171
*Part #171-5883P
*15"x8"
*6 x 139.7 (5.5)
*-27 Offset
*3.43" Backspacing
*108mm Center Bore
*Polished aluminum

They fit perfectly on my 1983 pickup with 31x10.5 tires - no rubbing on the frame, enough backspacing to clear all the steering components, clears the front calipers well, clears my rear GM disc brake conversion and the bore fits well around the hubs.

Here are some pictures. (Sorry, I have no day time pics of them on my truck since I'm in the middle of my build)

I preferred chrome over black by a fairly large margin, but these have grown on me (especially considering there aren't any chrome aluminum wheels). I think these are the ones I am going to end up going with...thanks for the suggestion!
