sorry i forgot to adjust the light levels and thats with my sag. so basically everyone was right. you can fit them but with minor rubbing on that little plastic flap. and i wasnt planning on regearing but i am going to now. also a lift was always in the works so im gonna do the zuk coil mod in the rear and bj spacers in the front. what do you guys think 5.29 or 4.88? 32x11.50 bfg A/T

Hey are those wheels 7" wide? Have you tried airing down a lil bit while on trails? Im interested in how the bead holds if its a 7" wide wheel holding 11.50" wide tires.. And how much of a PIA were they to mount? They look great BTW..

I appreciate the compliment. I have not wheeled the truck yet. I'm sure others have had experience and can add their comments. It makes sense that skinnier wheels would provide a stronger "bead". I think these are 7" wide, but cannot speak to the difficulty in mounting them.

With the 7" wide rim, you'll have a much harder time blowing a bead.
The only issue you run into with narrow rims and fat tires is that every once and a while, the tire shop will get all fussy and tell you they can't mount them. My advice to others considering the wide tire/narrow rim combo is to check before you buy to make sure they won't have an issue. If they do, go elsewhere.
Great looking tires! Congrats!

I'm looking for some new tires for my 87 lifted 4Runner with 15" rims. I currently have 33" x 13.5 superswampers on 15x8 rims. I am thinking about going 33x 12.5 this go round, but tires in that measurement seem harder to find. I was thinking about going +1 to 16" rims and going with comparable metric. Anything special to look for when doing this? I would have to buy new rims, but could sell my current. Worth it for ease of tire buying?
