more 4.3 questions
I have a 88 4 runner. Donor vehicle is 95 chevy blazer 4. 3 Cpi. Swapping the complete drive train in. 1st question is, does anyone have a manual on how to do this swap ? 2nd question, I have a 4" suspension lift, will this help with clearance ? 3rd question, I've heard of issues with the Cpi, is there anything that can be done to avoid/ eliminate these issues ? Thanks for any help.

Do a search on 4.3 swaps. Pretty sure nobody has a manual on it but hey, who knows !!
May want to clarify your second question... oil pan clearance ??
What issues with the Cpi ??
You'll get more responses when you present more information.

downey off road had one , not sure how good it was .But their gone anyways. with all the different 4.3's and trans combos not sure anyone would even bother to make one that would cover all things. I did mine reading this site and pirate and you wouldn't believe all the info you can find on Google search.something you had to figure on you own for the rest ask questions on this board

The cpi "spyder injector" can go bad after awhile. Easy fix . To see if bad ,take top cpi cover off . You'll see fuel stains in the intake runners. Put a new injector in.$200.
Is your computer the "silver box" or the "black box" on the passenger engine compartment ?
You want the silver one.
Im doing a swap right now. Almost done.
