Ford Toploader?
I've always wanted to put a small block Ford w a Toploader 4 speed and a V-gate shifter in my Toyota for mud bogging. I always assumed it was expensive if not impossible. Anyone seen this done before. I'm assuming a front axle and TF case swap would be mandatory!

I had one in a 67 Cougar hotrod, 289, solid cam, 10.5 forged trws, high rise, etc. It was the most fun to drive and slam those gears. No way to miss a shift w the Hurst Ramrod Vgate and just as fast or faster shifts than an auto. I still have the drivetrain in the shed. If I could just win the lottery.........

I just realized the thing could only work w a divorced transfercase or rwd only because the shifter mounts to the rear of the long snout attached to the transmission. A complex relocating/fabing of the linkage would be needed if the tfcase was attached directly to the transmission w an adapter and a raised hump in the floor would be needed to fit it under the cab and over the Tfcase. It would be a headache.
