COOL sounds GREAT! GLAD TO HEAR ITS RUNNING! now its ramping up for a sweet summer of wheeling...yea those pesky 6-10's that stuff lots and lots and lots of cash in your pocket.... but I left early today I am just plain ole tired these days

whats the plan with the radiator? my rear rad mod was a sucess and I can make my engine go below 100f in a few minutes.....

OH and I have a a hundredish feet of 2.5" sch40 victalic steel pipe from work...its the exact stuff you want to use for beefy DL's since the I.D. is within a few thousands to being a perfect fit for our yota yokes...your welcome to it so you wont pretzel your DL again

Rad is going in the back i'd like to do what you did. How did you pipe it? what did you use?
Thanks for the offer i already used a 3" schedule 40 pipe with stock ends its f'in beefy

I drove her yesterday and she's pretty damn mean. Was gettin sideways with a light half throttle no clutching. Thats with stock gearing and 36's... i can tell i'm gonna have some broken crap soon lol

Yea fixin up for a good summer. I got a dude here that wants to wheel with us he has a 3rd gen on bogs locked up but still kinda stockish. We'll have to get up to elbe soon

Nice! It's amazing how exciting it is the first time it runs, no exhaust and all. I am at the same point with mine, just fired up a week ago and can''t wait to get the rest worked out as soon as i get the time.

I used sch40 1 1/4 black iron I used blk so I could safely weld to it instead of galvanized. I read on pirate a guy was using copper type L and he was brazing the fittings seems like over kill and expensive.

I got a rad out of a clean 2001 crown vic with the E- fan & shroud for $45 its a puller fan so I can mount it close to the cab without heating up my butt.

I then just piped it so the high side of the rad connected to the high side of the motor and visa versa for the low side

I made some home made brackets out of scrap stuff so the piping runs are removable too

to make the final transition connectionfrom blk iron to rubber hose I chopped up some stock coolant pipe from the old motors I have laying around then just welded it to the 1 1/4"
(ie. the pipe that is a U shape on that goes from the water pump to the lower rad connection on the driver side near the motor mount on a 22r)

bleeding the air was a pain at first cause I did not know what I was doing....to bleed the system you have to have a thermostat housing with some sort of tap above the thermo...unscrew that thing a little bit and bleed the air out ...if you dont have one you may need to tap it for a plug

if you need to take a closer look at mine just give me a call
