Well Ive been running around gathering parts I think I going to need to accomplish swapping this into my 94 4runner and was hoping somebody could give me a little feedback..
So far I have the 4.7L engine/auto tranny/transfer case out of a 04 Tundra. All engine bolt ons are there and connected via the engine harness which goes thru the firewall to the ecu. I believe I still need the following before starting the engine is a reality...
1.electronic gas pedal and associated wiring
2.4wd control module and hi/lo button
Not too sure about the following...
3.TVIP (Toyota Vehicle Intrusion Protection) ECU
4.Fuse box(s) from tundra
5.vacuum modules
I will be using a Ford HP Dana 44 (driv. side diff) to match the t/case output. Also I got front leaves out of an 84 FJ60 and was wondering if anyone has used these in a SAS. They measure 42" from eye to eye and are 9.25" at highest point. I figured they'd work to support heavier cast block.. ANy Thoughts are greatly appreciated!!!
