What did u plug your old dipstick hole with??

Does anyone know what size tap ors used to give with their swap?? Or even better what did you guys use. I'm at the point that I am just gonna take a wooden dowel n coat it in gasket goop shove it in n call it good. But isnt cutting corners bad?? thx in advance you all rock ill have lots of pix coming up soon i just wanna get a little farther.

Get to a junk yard, there will be one. Besides you need to measure with it too, so don't skimp there....... What engine do you have, i'll measure mine for you if its a 22re.

I'm pretty sure I used a 3/8 as said in my thread. To fill the old hole, it involved a bolt (possibly a nut on the back side) steel weld epoxy and gasket sealer.

Yay finally plugged. I ended up using a 9/16 freeze plug needed a little love from the drill to get it in but worked out good. Success after all was said and done . packed my oil pump. and got the front n rear crank oil seals replaced. n the pan n oil sump on. WOOT maybe ill get this motor back together so I can try to get it in. Thx guys YOTATECH ROCKS!!
