My 3.4 swap is starting back up!

I have been away for awhile and now I am coming back to it. Fishing season is just about done and my elk hunt is over now. So it is back to the shop to finish this beast. installing new heads on the motor this weekend, all of the lower end has been rebuilt and bored over. Today I am sitting down with the wiring harness and swapping connectors, AT wire harness to MT ECU. thanks to theMonch this should not be too bad. wish me luck.

Ok may be going a different route now....but still a swap of sorts. Just found a t100 with a ton of miles on it. So I am thinking of getting it and putting my freshly rebuilt 3.4 in it. Now I have to get rid of a lot of swap parts. I have 2 wire harnesses, two 3.4 M/T ecu, ceramic coated crossover built by toyotaonlyswsps and a few other parts I don't need. I think the t100 would be an easier route and better for what I do, hunting and fishing.

The only problem is that the 97 sr5 4x4 M/T t100 has 310k but still runs great. I want to swap engine right away but I have read that some of these engine just run forever if properly maintained.

Any suggestions?

I just "completed" my t100 3.4 swap and it would be cake if i had to do it all over again. check out my swap thread under my signature. Anyway, i bought my donor not knowing the milage or any of that, the timing belt cover said that it had 175k miles back in 2004 so im guessing it had 275 but i'll never know because there was talk about papers floating around saying it had been rebuilt and what not but once again i'll never know. i didnt have to do any dipstick drilling, my wiring with the exception of a couple wires was basically swapping color for color, the engine harness is longer, the grommet on the harness fit's the firewall knock out perfect, my motor didn't have "EVAP" or a charcoal canister so i didnt have to worry about any of that, if you're planning on doing a SAS or if you have one already you will not have to swap out oil pans or sumps because the t100 motor already has it. Swapped it in and it's a freakin beast of power man and who know's how many miles it has, it runs great and sounds great. i'd personally go with the t100 swap. up to you though
