Lysmachia's CAB/Engine Swap for Tippy

Oh so it looks like I need a T100 (2WD) Oil Sump to fit the pan I got from ORS. I have called so many auto salvage places and while I did find on extra pan (for MrDoug) there were no sumps.
Grrr...
Any ideas on where I might find one used? Or did any of you do a conversion yourself on the 3.4 sump on your donor engine?

So, if your current 3.0 setup worked... just swap it all over to your 3.4.

I am so confused. I got the T100 pan, but now I have to move the sump for it to fit. I didn't think I was going to have to.
What is the difference between the 3.4 pan and the 3.0? I assume they have the bumnp on the same side since the sump has to fit in either pan. Is one shallower than the other?

IIRC the main difference was the 3.0 was made to fit around a diff on the passinger side and the 3.4 had the diff on the drivers side. So they were scooped out to fit around the diffs on different sides.

I wonder why they flipped the driveline around when they switched to the 3.4? Anybody know?

Well I went ahead and pulled the sump and then put the T100 pan on - so I can see how it will fit when we drop the engine in.
Then we did the timing belt:
White hot timing belt action...
Thank god we had MrDoug's nifty pully tool!
What a bitch getting that belt on!
I got fired. Nate took my place.
Moving Tippy to put the engine in:
Nate cleaning out the bell housing.
I'm wiping up the mess
What a dork!
Shortly after this we decided the engine wasn't going in till I do the cross-over exhaust. Then we got a call for a rescue of a TJ7 up on left hand, so we went for a very wet, rainy, and extremely slick and muddy rescue...

Ya know Molly those engine stands usually have a "spin" feature to make it easy to work on the bottom end from a standing position...
What a dork!
Cute pic... for some reason a butt in the air always makes me think of paddy whacks...

So yesterday for my Birthday Troy surprised me this donor "Top" that we are gonna swap onto Tippy's frame. Probably gonna go with the 5VZFE (3.4) Donor motor I already have instead of rebuilding the 22RE. Will probably do a dash swap if we can swing it, to avoid the wiring harness. Don't get your hopes up to see the "new" Tippy any time soon. Cash is at a minimum and lots to be done (though Troy has connections and he got the body for a song I hope).
Any way it was an awesome surprise and I promptly seized later that night to show my appreciation. (Go figure)
Is it weird I am more worried about the crossover pipe than I am the wiring?

Not weird at all! Use the stock crossover, modify it to exit left. Beware the bellhousing & firewall clearance. Also make sure the end is higher than stock & you will have fewer worries with frame rail clearance. Ceramic coat it & you is joyful!!
