*HELP* - 3rd Gen - Loosen Driver's Side Mirror

Hi Guys,

I've just figured out the driver side's side mirror of my 4runner (2000 SR5) is loosen. I'm wondering if it's something can be easily fixed. And I'm wondering if someone has one of those scanned page from a Chilton's manual that might be able to send to me as an illustration/instruction.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

where is it loose. If its the window bracket just retighten it. Other than that you have to open up the mirror housing itself

lol no problem the mirrors a held in by three screws that are behind the black trianagle cover (unless you have tweeters then its behind those) anyway pry the covers off and you will see the screws just tighten or loosen as needed.....hope that helps.....

by the way thr 4runner mirrors will fit the tacomas as well (97-03)

I think it's just the Window Brakcet that you guys called. (the Triangle piece which attached to the door get loosen). So just pull the tweeter part (another triangle piece insdie) off and tighten the screws?

A Flat Screw driver would be good enough to pull that thing off?

Thanks alot for your help guys!

I'm still not able to pull that inside triangle off. I was worrying about breaking that thing and the tweeter with my screw driver. Any pictures illustration would be appreciated!

Thanks a lot

I end up getting my friend at the body shop to do that for me. It's really simple seeing him pull that triangle (with tweeter) off, but I wouldn't dare to do it as I'm sure that I will break somehting!

ANyway, thanks for all the help guys
