Cleaning & Reoiling the Amsoil TS115
Hey all,
Just wondering how often you all clean and re-oil your Amsoil air filters? Do you have a specified interval or just wait until it's dirty?

Every 6 months or so. Its pretty simple, however the first time I did it, I cut myself on the edge of the metal screen.
Also, its good to have the regular paper filter to use while the Amsoil is in the drying/re-oiling process. I usually give it 2 days b/f I put it back in---1 day to completely dry from the water from the wash and another day to allow the excess oil to drain from the bottom of the filter after re-oiling.

You might want to hang it for a day to let the rest of the oil drain. Yea I stood on it. Used half a roll of paper towels.
A week later I had to change out a burned headlight bulb. I found oil all under the air intake box and down the inside part of the fender wall.
