Tooo much Powa!!!

Well I got this little truck a few months ago, it was a trade in at my father inlaws Mercedes dealership. A old man was the original owner of it.

The truck has full power, ac, tilt, p/s and a perfect bench seat!! HAHAHA!!
The little 22re had a little timing chain guide noise and the clutch has seen better days so instead of pulling the engine to fix all of that stuff I decided to stick this in there......

The fan set up is a Spal Black Magic, it cost $190 an has all the thermostat controls and relays in the kit. it fits the radiator PERFECTLY!!!!

I might go the Prerunner route just to take full advantage of the nice power curve.

Yea its RIDICULOUS to drive,

1st, 2nd, 3rd gear is just smoke,

I have the 325cc injectors and a 255 walbro pump which made a big difference in power too, its scary how lean that set up runs with the stock injectors..

I kill my Dad's Ranger with a swaped 5.0l hehehe

Just soon as I can get a decent rear end in it, I keep shearing the pinion right off of it,

I am going to order a Eaton LSD and stick that in a V6 diff with a 4.10 gear

I have a set of 26" M/T stickies I am going to run on it.

nice work rancho...do you have some numbers in terms of $$$ on what it cost you to do for that swap? I'm toying with the idea of something similar for a pre-runner.

You can find a MT 3.4l swap for about 2,000

Stick with the 99-00 engines they are the best for supercharged duty.
2001 and up have hard to adapt smog junk, 2002 they went to a semi fly by wire throttle control.

So here is a bit of a price break down.
Clean 91' truck with PS and AC $3000 (Old Man)
Engine Complete $2,000 (From my shop)
Supercharger $1000-$1400 (used on ebay)
2wd 3.4l v6 5 speed trans (r150) $450 (also from my shop)
ORS engine harness $700 (ORS VERY NICE harness installs in less than an hour and it plugs right in and everything works!!)
2.5" down pipes, (2) Magnaflow 3" stainless mufflers ALL stainless exhaust $850 (built myself)
V6 Tach cluster with Tach mod $75 (also from my shop)
Drive shaft work $125 (AAA Driveshaft in Rancho)
New V6 Radiator $150 (1-800-radiator)
Spal Black Magic fan $289 (jegs)
Walbro 255 intank pump $100 (ebay)
V6 fuel filter $14 (world pac)
Aussie locker $300 (ebay)
K&N FIPK for a Tacoma $175 (ebay)
T100 Oil pan and pick up $165 (Maita Toyota)
Water pump, timing belt, filters, fluids, tune up parts, new hoses and belts ($275)

Just about 10k ($9,668) is what is cost to build THIS truck and thats if you do it all yourself.

Take off the cost of the truck and is $6,668

You can do your own wiring if you have the time and the skill to save the $700
