91 yota swap?

i have a 91 yota 4x4 5 speed. i gettin ready to pull the 3.0 out and i was wondering what i should do. i the power of the 3.0 sucks. what parts could i use to get the most power out of the 3.0 or would it be better to just do an engine swap, if so what are some suggestions. open to anything without major modifications.

Swap in a 3.4 from a newer Toyota. There isn't any major fab work and the power simply blows away what you can do with a 3.0 for the same cost.

Wiring is the most difficult part, but it's not that bad once you figure out the goal. There are a lot of wires that have to be traced and spliced together. It would take a couple hours with the wiring diagrams. Your other choice, albeit more expensive, is to go with www.offroadsolutions.com and look at the variety of kits available. I went as cheap as I could and it worked out fairly well. Check www.andrewzook.com for a good example of a swap.
