91 4Runner V8 swap

I am starting a V8 swap in my 91 4Runner 2WD. I have plans and ambitions to later do a SAS and convert to 4WD. I have never done an engine swap before and I love spending time turning wrenches in my garage..... If any of you guys have done this before, wich I'm sure some of you have, I would really apriciate any input on things to look out for down the road. This project will probably take me a while but I will give updates along the road.

Step One; We got the motor and trans out. Now some clean up needs to start. If anyone wants to buy my old 3.0 (3VZE) let me know. My last buyer ran into some unexpected financial blocks. Things break they need fixing....

Gutting down the dash and some un-needed wiring

This was a lot of fun. My fingers hurt from all of those damn wiring clips.

Why did you strip the dash down like that?
