1JZ GTE VVTi but 4WD

I am planning to match a 1JZ gte VVTi on my rig.
Thanks to Yotatech guys, I have more less clear how to bolt a manual tranny to this engine (trough a R154 with R151F tail or cutting bellhousings)

But, before to take a desition, I would like to investigate is there is a 4WD AUTO tranny that could be bolted to an 1JZ that came with an auto tranny.

thanks in advance

Advance adapters might have something that makes an A340f or A340H bolt up..

Im not going to say that i know 100 percent. but from the looks of the outside of the two trans you can possible do the same thing you do with the r150 and the r154. the rear sections of the of the 340 on a 1JZ and the 340h have the same bolt patterns.

Well, this is the way to GO!

I bought a 1JZ GTE Auto tranny engine!

Now, have to make it 4WD

This is the combo, I will place it in a streached Suzuki Samurai;

no they don't. AA doesn't make anything for Toyota's like that. They make some bellhousings to adapt W and R series transmissions up to domestic mullet motors, and a couple different t-case options. But, they make nothing like what you're suggesting.

haha well you've got a mullet motor. No offense to them. They're good reliable engines... I just wouldn't have 1 in a Toyota. Maybe 15 yrs ago before all the Toyota V8 swaps started gaining popularity. But not now .

If I had more money and time I'd love to have a 1uz. But, I dont have either, so I have a 350 It was either the 3.slow or a V8 It took me a while to convince myself to stuff a Chevy motor in a Toyota, but after driving it, I have NO regret! My stock 350 with carb/intake/headers runs 100 times stronger than my 3.0 ever did!

Take a 4WD A340, swap the bellhousing, and possibly the input shaft (really easy) from the 1JZ auto, and you're done.

There's a HUGE amount of information about various Toyota autos in one of the 1UZ build-ups on this site. I can't remember who's, but he has blue painted intake manifold on it.

Nice find on a VVTI single turbo 1JZ though.
