What kind of harness are you using for that?

I use a DBI Salla tower harness. they make the harnesses specifically for cell tower work. a lot of the other guys use elk river harnesses.

the highest i have ever climbed was a 210ft tower. when i got to the top i stood on the top and stuck my hands in the air just so i could get that extra 7 ft or so.

The only progress I made on this build is registering, insuring and tuning up my VW PITA. California's financial crisis hit me in the face today at the DMV. I waited 3 hours to get this van registered. The DMV here has 13 windows to handle all the vehicle crap and as a result of Ca. layoffs there were 3 windows open. I actually fell asleep waiting. LOL
Holy crap, the fourth cylinder plug on the 1.9 liter Vanagon is a total nightmare to get to. I did manage to swap it out and after I did a complete tune up on this van it is SUPER quick!
I need to get this Vanagon running "smooth" before I start the choppity chop chop on my yota, otherwise I will be without a DD.

Well, not to rub it in your face or anything but the last time i went to the dmv in December to register my truck. THere WAS NOBODY in there. Absolutely no wait.

Its like that a lot at the local one.

Ah you can get the swap done in a weekend

No new work done as of late
The photos below tell the story. The surf up here has been good lately (those two breaks are below my house.) Most of this winter it has sucked and recently it as turned on.
I have most of the kit to finish off my SA. Still need the leafs.

hey this might be a little off topic, but when you put the LED's in the cluster of your Toy, did it mess up the dimmer function? Do they dim out like the standard filament ones do?

Any progress on the SAS an of yet?

Mine dim a little right before they shut completely off. They do not dim in the same way as the stock alien green ones.
I am placing my kit order on Mon or Tue for the rest of my swap, soo it is progressing ..slowly.

Hey Mike, I will be in touch later in the month. It is film season in NoHum and things are kinda hectic.
Thanks for the note.

that's what I was thinking...

I had green ones in my base model cluster before the SR5 swap, and they didn't dim at all, they just turned off at a point, lol

Yes, I know, this SAS has been delayed.
I don't know how many Yotatechers know about Bass Pro Shops but I have been working on their new add. In addition to working behind the scenes, I was also an actor in the fly fishing part of it. In the pics below are me with the director and on set. The add will be coming out sometime this summer. Super cool crew to work with! We don't have any Bass Pro Shops near Humboldt but it looks like a great store! The creative people behind this ad were so nice to work with.
I am actually glad its over and I can now focus on the chop chop

Check that camera

and that tight loop..hahahhaha.. JK

Anyway, enough nonsense. Time for the swap!

Diving got in the way of the chop chop. The cupboard is bare. Now the cupboard is full and I have some dinner.
I posted these up for Spanishroad. One clicker 10" Ab and a couple of 9.5's and a fat Cabazon and a few lings.
BTW a Cabazon's main diet is crabs..and as a result its meat tastes like crab meat. It is THEE best fish on the planet IMHO.
Chop starts in an hour

14lb ling
