98 4runner sas help
Im starting on my 98 4runner sas swap, ive done my 91 and my 86, but this has been the one ive always wanted to do. My question is i want to run an 85 toyota front axle, so where can i (if i can) get a adapter to run a 4cyl gear driven transfer case on the 3.4 automatic? I would like to put dual cases on it and i need it to drop down on the other side. Any help would be great. Thanks.

ya i looked on marlins website but kinda was confused. i found one to put a gear driven transfer case on a 3.0 5spd but not a 3.4 automatic. How much does this adapter run?

The V6 adapter works in the R150F manual trannies and also in the A340F auto trannies.

That would be far strong enough for sure easiest way to go for the older rigs but there are ways to run it on the newer however ide vote 60's for it and seriously call it good.

I love toyota to death but sometimes other companies just simply make somthing bigger, stonger, better. Trust me Toyota, Yes! is pretty much all I want in my rig, but you also have to keep in mind the newer 4runners are wider than 2nd and 1st gens and a small toy axle will give you a very scary narrow affect that can prove dangerous on the trail and aspecialy on the road. The fj80 axles is all I would recomend toyota wise for a front diff on any new yota (trucks and 4x4's)
Whats the update cl450r

Finally got internet at my house so i can come on here more often. I have a couple 4cyl transfer cases and an 85 pickup axle at the house, so thats why i was plannin on that, but what is the advantage of the fj80 axle? Also i plan on running 38 inch boggers for tires. I want to get everything rounded up, cuz i plan on starting it before the end of the month. Ive been lettin my dad everyday drive it now, haha.

So what year fj do i need to find these out of? And can you get a high steer setup then for this axle? Wider would def be better and so would the hp diff.
