44044s in Toyota spring size hanger?

I'm planning my SAS on my 86 4Runner.

I plan to get Trail-Gear.com's spring hanger kit.

I already have a pair of Rancho 44044s (I plan to pull a spring or 2 our to lower then down to about 3" of lift).

How well do 44044s fit into a spring hanger made for Toyota springs? I understand that they are 1/2" wider, but what does that result in in reality?

I've never done it personally but i am pretty sure you can just do some minor trimming of the bushings

I think the springs themselves are only about 1/8" wider (2-1/2" vs. 2-3/8" on the Toyota leaves). Don't know about the bushing thickness in those springs, though.
