Pismo Beach 4RJ: Trip Reports and Pictures
Well we got back from Pismo a bit ago, and I must say it was a great time. I believe we had something around 25 vehicles attend. It was great meeting everyone, and I'm looking forward to doing it again!
I'm working on getting my pics uploaded now.

yes, it sure was a fun trip. i'm really glad i went, and got to meet a lot of you. the wheeling was definitely great, and...educational (keep that momentum!). thanks to bob, steve, and tom for setting this trip up. yeah there were a couple setbacks (ran out of night passes on friday), but it was nothing and i'm sure everyone had a good time.
here's a few pics from the trip...

Great pics! I especially like the shot of your truck with the sun going down.
I have some pics of Jason stuck too... He did a heck of a job for only having 2WD though!
Here's some teaser pics of my own:
Group Shot
In the Dunes
Me on the makeshift RTI ramp:

Who was rescued by a SAMURAI?? :pat:

Yeah that was Bud, I wasn't going to out him though. Oh well!
It wasn't till we stopped at In N Out on the way home today that I realized that I completely forgot something:
I wanted to introduce Sarah to Jason as "The guy that ate the 10x10".

we got to see a hummer pull a full size GMC out. there was a 2wd GMC stuck with a broken bead on the front left. about 4 people tired to pull him out before but nobody could. finally after a crowd gathered 4 hummers game along. those two hummers hooked eachother together (for weight purposes) and they winched him out. pretty exciting, but it ruined our trip that night. we had fun though getting lost after that

Jason also almost learned - the hard way- that you need to approach the crest of a dune slowly! It could be nothing, or it could be a sheer drop!

haha "the hummer that couldn't" that was funny. and those random people that kept driving through, especially ford boy, were annoying indeed. glad to hear those guys didn't mess up your hi lift too bad, eric. it was still fun going out last night tho .

Chris and Charles, thanx for getting me out of that hole i was in. it took us like an hour with all those stupid bikers looking at us. but it was really a good time.
thanx to Scott also for helping me out of some stucks more than once
only thing i regret is not being able to race more people on comp hill. maybe next time.
