Cliffs (marseilles IL) run on May 12. FJ cruiser trail team scheduled to attend.
May 12th at the Cliffs Insane Terrain Offroad Park we are putting togeather a run. Right now the FJC team wants to make it and looks like they will, but im not sure if they have commited yet.
If the group is small enough to run one group, then it will obvoiusly be a easy day. But if there alot of rigs then we can split into groups with varying difficultys.
I will be there in my 4runner, BUT it looks like I will stick with the newbies and stockers, and help them preserve their bodies.

FJC team is in! If you havent wheeled with these guys I suggest coming. Plus these FJ cruisers are very impressive. The midwest team will be there I dont know if it is the same team as last year. Plus one guy from the east coast team, Brian (Woody), you land cruiser guys should know him he is the Administrator of IH8MUD.com.
If you own an FJC I strongly suggest you attend this event, you will have a blast and learn to drive these things from some great drivers.

Cool.
I had a lot of fun at the Trail Team event that WATRD got going here last year a week before I picked mine up.
The cool thing is they will let you drive them on the trail too.
I read earlier over on Woody's forum that he was on the team, very cool.
Brain runs a top notch forum, I surf it several times a day besides here.

Joe, it would be nice if you came if we dont get a staff guy to guide we might use you since you know the cliffs so well. Me and Todd have been there a million times but we still get lost.
BTW did you ever use those 4runner coils I gave you? Todd might use them for his pig if you are looking to get rid of them.

If you have the trd locker and some kind of all terrain at least you should be just fine.
And if you change your mind just hop into someones rig.

You should be fine.
I dont know if you have wheeled before but if you havent and ever plan too then this is the perfect opportunity to run the Cliffs. I usually recommend that people start at the badlands...but between the trail team, Joez, and the rest of us it will be a very valuable experience to wheel with some guys who have been around the block. Plus Todd (Gumby) and I will be spending the day with the stockers. Also you will get to know alot of the local wheelers, that is of course if the local Yotatechers do something rarely seen and.....ACTUALLY WHEEL

I wheeled a few times a a local mudpit with Fireteacher, and been back there a few times since then. It was pretty mild, but I would like to do more. Gotta check the schedule for that weekend but I would like to attend.

Well I might have a problem making it that weekend, my 4 year old daughter has her first ballet recital that day at noon. This sucks, I really wanted to go to Cliffs and meet up with you guys. I guess I could blow off the recital but that's not too cool, after all she is my little princess. The saving grace is that she might be able to switch it to Sunday but that is with a different class and she wouldn't know any of the kids. The wife was not to happy that I was even considering missing it to go wheeling. I will post up more info when I figure it out.

I am missing my brothers college graduation, and my friends' son's baptism.
So suck it up.
So seventeen posts and only one commit

Make that 19 and only one commit...but would like to get the '91 out on the trail. Not sure if I can have it ready by then but ordered some stuff today so we'll see. I would like to see your '92 4rnr, kind of like my '91 except on steroids.
