Just put a Reman 3.0 in my 92 from Karking in Ontario (karking.com). So far very happy, it runs great. It was $2100 installed, out the door with all the fluids, spark plugs etc. My 92 is just for the weekend, not a DD but I needed to get it back on the road after sitting for 2 years with a blown HG.
Good Luck

Hello Yotatech,
The beginning of 2010 I started my slow research into the 3.4 swap and searched for a donor vehicle for my white 94 v6 5speed 4wd pickup. I truly love my truck... But when the hits the fan, it really hits the fan. To summarize I no long have the time to perform the swap due numerous factors which includes now it being my only vehicle... & to cut my time even shorter my v6 is now a v5. I have only found one shop willing to due the swap in SoCal but asking $4k+ with me providing the donor vehicle or $7.5k without. Finding a donor vehicle is hard enough, the cheapest complete donor I've found went for $2200. I would greatly appreciate a simple point in the right direction to a supplied savage yard or a reputable shop. Thanks for reading
