Up To 40 State Parks Could Be Mothballed WA. State

Saw this on the local news yesternight before the weather report.
http://www.kirotv.com/news/18865240/detail.html

Due to the economy several WA. state parks will be closed.
This includes some day use only parks and parks that have full camping facilities.

This really blows, as with the economy many are looking for cheaper vacations, and camping is a great way to get out and explore ones state.

I have not used a state park in years though, I prefer the ruggedness up at the campgrounds at Mt. Rainier National Park, and rough camping in the wilderness like the Greenwater area where there are no developed campsites, just areas to park and rocks for a fire ring.

Here is a proposed list of closures.
The ones in bold and red text are ones I have camped at in the past.
