From what i'm reading, they haven't voted yet. It's still on the committees.

That's why there is no news coverage as of late.

Last Action: Apr 29, 2009: Referred to the Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests and Public Lands.

you know i think! This wilderness act is a complete waste of our public lands, and taxpayer money. And technically its still open to the public, but you have to walk to access it. Moab is a 1 of a kind place to recreate, and closing this would be a tremendous disappointment to me and many others. I have never been there, but i hope that politicians quit hugging trees, and keep public lands open.

just my opinion and i think this bill is a p.o.s.

'Tis the biking, hiking and driving that draws me there at least once a year. Without the biking and driving I'm out. My money goes where I'm allowed to responsibly do the things I like.
'Sides, you wouldn't want GCSAR to get bored, now would you?

So now it's posted up on the local mountain biker's board. We're an active and vocal bunch when it comes to this sort of thing. Where are you guys spreading the word?

This "dickhead" is my Congressman for New York's 22nd Congressional District. He is very well known where I live. He is also anti-gun as well.

Oops, I crapped my pants.

Good one. You had me there. Hope it doesn't really happen though.
Never been there but plan on taking my kids someday.
