Thanks.
I will run that number by my parts department, that is if the FJ ever decides to book itself on the boat over here.

This is the number off the package that my locks came in. I am positive this is the correct set!!!

How did you originally find out about this part number?

Hi Guys!
FJ40-When I brought the issue to the attention of the parts manager at my dealer he called their parts help line. The answer he got from the help line was to use the above cited kit .The part# I posted is the one printed on the package.

Marc, you're correct. My dealer's parts dept. verrified, and is getting it for me at cost since I just bought the FJ from them which I pick up tomorrow. Apparently the assessory wheel lock set that Toyota offers for the FJ is only a 4 nut set, but the part you listed is an actual part, not an assessory and it's a 5 nut set which includes spare for the same price.

Just spoke with my dealer to order them, they have a set in stock.

However...an FJC owner bought them and then returned them.
Says they did not fit.

Make sure yours fit correctly.

Corey-I had both the 4 lock set that they originally installed on my FJ and the 5 lock set that they replaced it with in my hand at the same time. The only difference is the # of locks!!!!

Perhaps the FJ owner that returned them was trying them on the steel wheels? Do you think that the Toyota parts help line would have given my dealer the wrong part #? The parts manager inspected them as well and verified they were the same.

I'll tell you another thing! If you try and put on one of the locks or one of the lugs using a parts store four headed wrench instead of a smooth sided socket you can't tighten the lock or the lug because the four way wrench will interfere with the plastic hub pieces in the center of the alloy wheel.Maybe the guy who returned them didn't recognize this issue.

I spent the better part of two days making loads of calls researching FJ Cruiser wheel locks eventually finding the correct part.Perhaps you should go down to your dealer's parts counter and ask him to show you both kits in order to be convinced.

Marc

Cool, I will pick up the set then.
They will not give me a discount though until I have the FJ in my hands.

Still waiting...
My dealer received no allocation numbers today.
Something about a party.

I have to call next Tuesday or Wednesday to see if they have a VIN # for me, or they will call me.
If they do not have it, my rig did not get built yet, and I am going to get Angry, and take my business elsewhere perhaps.

I think I better change my name here to Angry Corey.
Heck, we have an Angry Andy on the forum, might as well have two Angry's
