Corey, I'm sure you saw the '08 option for a cyclonic air filter as part of the new off-road package. I have my dealer researching for retrofit possibility (should be simple). It's most likely similar to the old FJ can-type that separates dust while improving airflow with a much larger element. My aim is like yours, but without the cutting.

They have had up instructions on how to install the snorkel for awhile too.
http://www.safarisnorkel.com/guides/...hf/ss410hf.htm

I will more than likely pick up the 105 mm hole saw required to cut the hole for the intake hose that goes through the fender.

The kit will reuse the hose that is in the engine bay, not to much modification needs to be done under the hood with the exception of cutting off part of the box the hose hooks to under the hood.

Hope to have the snorkel done by mid November.

The snorkel will clear my dual battery just fine too.
Glad Safari took that into consideration for those of us who did that mod.

That is not my rig, I have a silver FJ.

Check ARBs site to see if they make one for the T100, I am not sure if they have one or not.

Doing a bit of a thread revive here, BUT would installing a Safari Snorkel be difficult on this set up? I'm still deployed but shopping around and found a really nice FJ with this set up. Could I just buy another intake hose and remove what's in there now?
