Hi All! I have a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser. I went to pop the hood this morning to check all of my fluids and do an oil change, but no luck. I checked the cable on the lever under the dash and everything is connected and there's still a good amount of tension. While having a friend pull the lever, I could hear the mechanism clicking under the hood, but it still won't pop up in order for me to get my hand under the hood to release the secondary latch. Any ideas on how to get it open? It's time for and oil change and I'm getting ready to take a road trip. Any help would be great! Thanks!
