CB anatenna mount (FJC)

I plan on putting in my CB into the FJ.
Since the FJ does not have an ARB bumper on it (yet) I would have to go for a fender mount like I use to run.

Looking at these close-ups from Muds site
http://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=90102
It looks like there is no normal fender lip to use a traditional fender mount.

Are they any type of mounts out there that will work with a fender like this?
So far I have not seen one FJ on the Net with an antenna on the fender.

corey, in the last picture of that 1st post, it looks like there may be a 'normal' fender lip, but there is some plastic trim around it.

maybe you could cut/trim a slot where on of those fender brackets will work? there is a lot of glare in that first pic so i can't be sure...

Corey, you're right, it'll be a trick mounting your existing bracket. I saw one possible solution on the Firestick site, a bracket made for a trunk mount but looks like it could work just as well on the trailing edge of the hood. You'll have to measure the cumulative height of the bracket, spring and quick disco to check for open hood to windshield clearance.
