Crankshaft Pulley Question

Ok I got the crankshaft bolt rather easily but the pulley doesn't seem to just slide off as I thought it would. Somewhere I saw something about a woodruff key but it didn't explain. Am I missing something here? Trying to get the pulley off so I can install the new timimg belt so any help would be appreciated. (BTW I used a strap to hold the pulley in place and take the bolt out - don't have the tool for holding the pulley but think I'll have to make one to reinstall and torque the bolt back on)

Oh yeah I have a Toyota T100, V6 Auto 4x4

You might have to get a harmonic balancer puller .

Thank you. I believe I can borrow one from advanced auto parts. I'll call in the morning.
