HID's interfere w/radio

Does anyone have a problem with radio interference when they turn on their HID's? I only get 1 station when they are on. But the second they are shut off - no problem. Is there a way to eliminate this problem? Some type of electrical wrap over the ballast or wires? Any info would be great.

I'd put my money on a wiring issue.
Factory or aftermarket HIDs?

It's the ballasts. I had a set of Catz Zetas that caused an enormous amount of interference on my CB. Everything was grounded properly. Even with a noise filter installed on the CB, I would get 2-4 bars of interference on the CB. Without the filter, I would get 6+ bars. As soon as I'd turn them on, the Tx power would redline and it would look like I had transmitted for a split second.
I ended up removing them.

Is the level of interference linked to the brand and specific model or can you have two identical ballasts but one produces significantly more interference?

Is there anyway to shield the ballast? Like my tin foil hat that protects me from alien mind probes?
