You should check on that. Most places allow an additional pair of auxiliary lights up to 55w. Try finding a new model pickup that doesn't come with auxiliary lights stock.

As for the Angel Eye ones they ARE illegal. Any blue colored light of any sort is reserved for police use only. There is nothing illegal about buying, selling, or owning them, you just can't put them on a vehicle and turn them on. That is why police tend to have a hard on for those gay little windshield washer lights.

i mostly drive home in the dark with them on. have passed many cops, and none of them did anything. a lot of the beemers and luxury cars out here have them. i keep the halos off, i just have a switch cuz switches r cool. the headlights have a bit of blue in them, just like a new beemer or mercedes or rice burner honda or something.

i have a pair. i'm dissapointed in the quality. i got them b/c i wanted to have projectors in case i got hid but, the projectors are not even real in them. just half dome curved (not a full enclosed "bulb" of glass) over the h4 bulb. which means if you do put in hid the whole rectangular light will be lit up not just the prjoctor, therefore dispursing the light. no good. i'm running oem h4 bulbs now and they are not much better then the oem sealed beams i had. basically they suck. i hate the halo look too, good thing its not noticable. i did not wire it in. its ghey ricer looking even with out lighting up. i do like the euro positioning light but i had to replace the blue bulb with a reg white one and still have yet to wire it in. i'll post some pics once i install hid, wire in the positioning bulb, rewire my hella 500s and do the turn sig/running light mod first. they're worth about $20, thats it. if any one knows where to buy real projector lights, pls let me know.

The new Buick SUV has blue halo's stock. Anyone seen those? Also, are there any oem conversion kits to install good HID's? I know in my old car we could easily retrofit the Lexus 330rx HID's.... has this been attempted on a 1st gen 4Runner or 2nd gen truck?

real projector, id probably try an autoparts store. or maybe walmart or Kmart. thats all i can think of. yeah these headlights of mine are nice, i can see better, the lights themselves are 100W, i believe. im just not getting the correct amount of vision because i dont have the chart to align them properly. they are a lot better than stock though, with the stock ones when in an area with no street lights, (a few of em out here) i had to run the daylighters just to make sure i didnt hit a person even 20 feet in front of me. lets put it this way... my stock were so weak i could stare into them for awhile and it would be like looking at this screen. scary huh?

WA. and OR. allow for improved lighting on vehicles because of the rain/foggy weather. I use Hella headlights with replaceable H4 bulbs in my cars and trucks if possible, in my '81 Shortbed I have 90/110W bulbs and if their adjusted right (they better be) they don't blind oncoming drivers.

I have bright green running lights. (i think thats what they're called, the ones on the outside of the driving lights). And i've only gotten pulled over once, and it was for bull reasons anyway, *i think my lights shined in his eyes when i went over a little hill. but he tried to get me for everything and ended up giving up.

That's how they make money. Ebay takes a cut of the bid. So they make it up by having a large shipping price. I know to the us it is $30 for those lights. Maybe the extra $10 is fees for shipping over the border.

Ebay is getting pretty bad. What makes it worse is everyone using paypal. Sure its nice when your the buyer paying for an item but if you receive a payment they take so much money out. Ebay and paypal are joined so its no surprise. I got about a 300 dollar payment once at they took out 30 somthing dollars. that is just ridiculous.

I would run the Hella ECE conversion lamps with 55/100W bulbs and get the headlight wiring upgrade kit. I did that on my 89 P/U and the lights were almost as bright as the HID's on my Saabaru.
