80 amp fuse is blowing 92 22re xtra cab 4x4
i have a 92 4x4 xtra cab with a 22re my 80 amp fuse is blowing causing the alternator not to charge. i have already inspected all of the wiring under the hood, checked alternator, battery, all grounds and still havent found anything wrong. also i have no dash or brake lights and no power to the starter soleniod. any ideas on where to look next?

You most likely have a short in the starting circuit .
Not sure if there are major differences in the pick up compared to the 4Runner I have the EWD for the 4Runner.
can be in the ignition switch
the clutch cancel switch or the clutch cancel start switch if it has one
starter relay if it has one
or the starter solenoid it`s self.
it could also be in any of the wiring in the circuit.
causing a short to ground
a loose connection in the fuse block causing it to arc to cause a current draw overload
You just need to take it one step at a time
