So...I emailed Toyota!
The other day I had just come back from an off road adventure and I was just staring at my truck thinking how much i love it!
So I decided since I had nothing better to do I would email Toyota telling them how much I love the truck!! haha
I didn't expect anything more than a reply back but they asked for my address and said they will be sending me a "small gift".
Apparently they love to hear success stories about their vehicles!
I also found out what the small gift was. It is a Toyota cap, shirt and BBQ set witch they insisted I use on my next 4runner adventure! I can't wait to get this stuff. It may sound silly to some of you guys but I'm super excited!
I've never really had any Toyota gear lol I'll post pics if anyone is interested!

A similar deal happened with my stepdad when I was a kid. He called the Ford corporate office complaining about how the dealership wouldn't honor the warranty on our old Expedition. They sent us a propane camp stove, four Ford camping chairs and called the dealership and made them fix our car. Not exactly the same but it worked out to similar ends.
Maybe I should go e-mail Toyota now too...

So, uh, what's their email address?
They had a "high miler club" - toyotatrucknation.com (since redirected to Toyota...) and they let you register your car/truck, tell a story, and they mailed me a large sticker, cool shirt, and license plate frame.
Good stuff!
They need to make emblems like Volvo did:

well actually I couldn't figure out where to email them so I went to Toyota.com and used the contact us link. That link is mainly there for asking questions I think. They told me to use face book or twitter to share my "Toyota story" from now on. BUUUUUTTT I have neither of those?? So if you don't have Facebook or Twitter i guess you can just do what i did??? Not too sure how we are suppose to contact them with out those silly social networks.
I'm going to look into that high mileage club, I have 219000!
Which reminds me I need a oil change A.S.A.P!

So I couldn't find anything about he high mileage club and when i asked about it this is what they said...
"Our apologies, the 100,000 mile club has been discontinued, however your experience and kind words certainly mean a lot to Toyota. "
I guess there was just way to many high mileage Toyotas out there lol

Got the goodies!
OK guys so the "small gift" from Toyota came in yesterday! Here are the pics as promised! **camera quality sucks**
The shirt
The cap
The so called BBQ set came with an apron, oven mitt, and a black rag. The apron has a cool beer holder and bottle opener on it.
IMO the shirt is pretty cool, hat..eh.and the apron will definitely never get used lol
I'm pretty happy with all my Toyota free-bees though!
If anyone else gets a "small gift" after a Toyota e-mail post post POST!
P.S December 17 is FREE SHIPPING DAY at goldplugs.com so go buy a magnetic oil drain plug!
