Question pcv and crank case vent

I have one of thos cute little crank vent breathers installed on my truck. The problem is it gets full of oil and leaks all over the valve cover. I know the oem ran to the air cleaner assembly, and this would result in a similar problem.
I was wondering...what would happen if I drilled that breather port and installed a second pcv valve?

pcv check valves to let out & not in. oil would still push out. On mine, I t'd the pvc & breather to a hose ran upto the firewall (beside booster) & then put cute little filter on end of hose.the longer hose length wouldn't let oil blow that far (unless you flopped drivers side ), but still breathed.

the pcv is tied to a vaccume source, my thoughts were to pull the excess fumes out with the addition of the second one instead of blowing oil out the breather element... thoughts anyone

I unhooked my pcv from vac source & plugged (source). but you could hose mount just the breather, idea is to make the oil go a few feet up hose instead of just blowing right out. if it makes it up 2 feet of hose & still blows out, then u have MAJOR blowby issues, & this wont matter much longer

I dont want to un hook from the vacc source, i think that would make the problem worse. The engine is sound, 170 psi/ cyl avg.
No other input on this?
