Interesting find while I was out shopping
I found this beast sitting outside while I was shopping. I talked to the owner of it, and he says it's a Land Cruiser, imported from Africa, they guy was from Scandanavia. He has it SET UP and I mean set up for overlanding. He's got a stove in the back, a little pump sink, It looks like the top pops up. And It's a diesel 5speed with dual lockers he says came from the factory. It's got a nice Warn winch, flourescent lighting in the rear inside. It is left hand drive just like regular. I've seen quite a few LC's, but none like this one

I was wrong, the article in the March/April issue (p 24-28) of 4wd Toyota Owner was about a Land Cruiser Get together in Germany, not Australia. It has all kind of cool LC's to drool over.
It is a 70 Series Landcruiser: http://www.brian894x4.com/LC70mainpage.html
Check out this link: Innovation Campers click on the 'Toyota Ausbua" hyper link of left side of page (main page has a National Geographic type NSFW picture on it.) for more info on the camper conversion. I can't read German but there are some cool pictures of similar trucks.
Full FLoater would be awesome but I wonder why they went with 5 bolt hubs instead of the usual Toyota 6...I still think stormin was a luck SOB to get to check one out in person

Only thing I can see wrong with it, is that it looks pretty top heavy. I couldn't figure out what those ramps are for in the first pic.
Nope, I didn't get his number in casehe sells it. I mentioned to him that particular Land Cruiser is worth quite a bit over here in the States. He says he has no plans of ever selling it. He probably won't have to buy another vehicle ever, since that thing will get him where he needs to go for as long as he's alive.

Ok, so ramps make sense then. I was thinking they were for like crossing big cracks, like on rocks or something.
