glasspack back pressuse

ive got a cherry bomb turbo on a straight piped 84 i have and it took a dump and rattles like crazy so i was thinking of going to a glaaspack(cheap), but the concern i have is that it wont have enough back presure for torque because i ran it right out of my down pipe once and i didnt have enough low end power to make it up my hill. so any advice would help

p.s. i searched the fourm and all i could find was about the sound

The glasspack will give you the top end power. ide go with a flowmaster if you want the best of both worlds

Do you have a header?
IF you are running the stock manifold I wouldnt worry about it, run the glasspack if you want.

i do have headers, like i said befor i ran it straight outta the down pipe and it had no low end power so thats one thing im worried about that it will be the same as that. i dont really wanna put to much money into it because im really considering selling it, but i wanna get out as much as i can so i cant really have a rattleing muffler.

The length of the exhaust has more to do with torque than back pressure. That's why long tube headers make more power than shorty headers. My buddy runs a glasspack on his 22R and it pulls just fine.
