Gas Prices

There simply is no reason for it. We have more oil than the middle east does, why not drill here and put all that money back into our own economy? Our gas would be cheaper and we wouldn't be giving money to terrorists.

hate to throw this out there...but does anybody remember me bragging about gas being 3.45 in woodstown nj during the summer?

its starting to go up now so im bummed, elmer's gas was 3.59 a gallon so im sure woodstown will be following soon...
seems like every other vehicle in the gas island had either delaware or pennsylvania tags

Gas prices suck, we should do more drilling in Canada, they have the second largest oil reserves in the world.
Frankly, often gas prices go up when large firms capitalize on general fear of disruption in the oil supply. That's happening right now in Libya, even though they export 1.5 million barrels a day, almost all of it goes right under the Mediterranean to Italy...it shouldn't hardly affect North America at all. But if I was calling the shots at a big oil company, I would seek to maximize profits too.

Sometimes I wonder if some of these big oil companies neglect the concept of supply/demand. No matter how high oil prices rise, These companies can virtually charge whatever they want.

Sucks when you wake up on 420 happy till you get to the gas station and their charging 4.20 a gallon. That put a bigger hole in my pocket than the days festivities

I have a Ford F250 Diesel for a daily driver been paying $4.50 to $4.70 for a while. $4 a gallon would be a bargain.
$130 bucks to fill up a pickup truck that is how much it used to cost me to fill up a semi truck in the early 90's

3.76 a gallon , here in Idaho !! I go through 30.00 a day if i use the 4runner, 18.00 a day if i use the lumina, i get 67.5 cents a mile from the post office, just glad not to be using 4 wheel drive, that adds another 10.00 a day !!!

Unfortunately my toyota is sidelined for a little while for some lovin...so I have to drive my full size dodge everyday and I try to fill up once i get between the 1/2 and 3/4 mark on the gas gauge. Makes it feel like im spending less...still costs 50-70 each time!

In all seriousness, Obama gave us the answer to high gas prices. A couple days ago he said we should just all buy electric cars, and if you can't afford one you should start saving up for one. Just saying...we have been shown the light

That is actually incorrect. You may have been looking at old information but the U.S. has more oil than all of the middle east put together. Google it.
Dude I hate to break it to you...but Saudi Arabia alone has 19% of the worlds proven oil reserves. The United States has just 1.37% (Central Intelligence Agency)
