cons about bigger tires

I read somewhere that getting bigger tires will wear down wheel bearings and ball joints quicker than stock tires, is that true?

They do and they are also the main contributor to broken CV's. I know my 33x12.50's are too big.

You'll be fine with 32's. Acceleration will decrease a bit though.

It's a trap I've fallen into, never to return again, unfortunately. Your truck will develop a severe attitude problem, at least with 35's, that I can tell ya. Weigh the pro's and con's, my scale's broke I think.

i dont have any problems with my 33x12.5's. My braking is fine, my turning is fine, acceleration is fine (5spd 3.4), have yet to wear out a CV (knock on wood) etc etc

My MPG diddnt really change going from 31's to 36's. Of course you have to adjust your mileage do to the odometer not reading the correct amount of miles actually driven. In my case its off 25%.

Dude, you can't play this game, it's not fair, you got a solid axle. You can do whatever. I get the usual 17-20 mpg, with 35's and 3vze, slightly modified.

Increased wear and tear, loss of power, loss of gas mileage.

The first you can't really combat, the 2nd and 3rd can be fixed a bit with gearing.
