Cleaning the Wood Grain

Cleaning the Wood Grain
Hi all,
I have a 01' Limited and it has the Wood Grain on the dash. I use the Aurmorall (sp?) like solutions to clean the dash parts that are not wood grain. However, when I put it on the wood grain, it does not look as "clean" as it did when it came from the dealership. What does everyone use to shine up their wood grain?
Thanks in advance...

It appears to be a plastic material with a wood grain print. Maybe some type of lamenant <sp?> over top. It is the standard wood print from the factory.
Thanks,
Edit*** there is no wood in the interior of the truck. it is a plastic based material.

Well, the problem isn't that is muddy/dirty. It had a substance when I bought it from the dealership last month that made it glossy, looked like the plastic or vinyl protector used on the dash. I was just going through the truck and re-shining it up and using the armorall (sp?) it did not shine up the way it was from the dealer. hopefully this clarifies.
I can look into scratch x up when i get home, as i am not familar with this product. There isn't any scratches or anything like that on the plastic.
Thanks.
