The best way to buff out a paint scratch?
I pulled my 4 runner into the garage yesterday and my bike which hangs from my ceiling ended up coming in contact with the hood. It usually fits in the garage with my bike hanging like that, but I had put a night riding lamp on the handlebars the day before and that extra couple inches the lamp added kept me from pulling in all the way. It was too late by the time I realized this and it had put a nice, big scratch in my freshly painted hood. I dont think the paint was damaged, but some of the paint from the lamp on the bike left a big mark on the hood and I need to buff it out. What would you all recommend I use to get a surface scratch like that out without damaging the paint?
Thanks!
Thanks!

If its not too deep try either Meguairs Scratch-X or some Nu Finish scratch remover...use a REALLY soft cloth and put a little bit of remover on at a time, rub it all in, move to a new spot on the cloth...that has worked really well for me!
