Another Tire Question 265/65/17...
I am picking up an 04 T4R. The tires need changing out, though. On my last 4Runner, I put Bridgestone REVO's in 265/70/16. I did like that they were bigger tires, but didn't like the fact that it threw off the speedo/odo a bit and definately didn't like the decrease in gas mileage.
I am looking to replace these with OEM sizing (265/65/17). The availability isn't too great, however. I am looking at REVO's again. I loved the performance of these tires in mud, snow, rain, etc.
But just in case, anyone have a better suggestion? I mostly drive on-road, but occasionally go off-road (mild terrain). I definately need good snow traction.
The REVO's in OEM sizing is EXPENSIVE! ($166 a pop) But they were great tires.
