aluminized vs stainless steel exhaust
I'm thinking about putting a Gibson cat back system on the T-100 now that I have it back in the states for a bit, and am trying to figure out if I should get stainless steel of just aluminzed pipes for $100 less. Does the stainless steel last a lot longer? Thanks for any input y'all may have.

Also, off topic but relevant, would switching to manuel hubs increase my gas milage?

It depends on which type of stainless steel you are talking aboutl. If you are talking about 304 Marine Grade Stainless steel, it should last for the life or more, of the vehicle. If you're talking 409 Stainless steel which is a low grade stainless steel that is mandatory for all manufacturers to put on their new vehicles due to emissions laws, it will probably last for a long time as well, and longer than aluminized steel, but not as long as 304. 409 S/S is about 60% the cost of 304. Not sure where alumnized steel falls but it's obviously cheaper than 409 most likely.
