22r carb troubles

i have two 22r carburated motors and both will start and idle fine but when u step on the gas they dog out and want to die.. but when u ease into the gas they seem to be ok.. any ideas?

I'd check for vacuum leaks first, then look into the booster circuit in the carb - might be dirty and not able to react quick enough.

I have the same problem with my 22r. You step on it, it acts like it is going to die, but then responds. Really slow throttle response. Does yours actually die?
