01 Rav4 Where are the plugs?

Just bought the wife a "new" car but I can't find the ol' sparking plugs. It has a 2.0 wvvi and I think they are located under the air box but since it doesn't seem to have conventional plug wires, I would like to make sure before I go and start pulling things apart. thanks in advance for any help, Joe

Plugs are right on top of the motor along the valve cover. Remove the coil pack and then you can get at the plug

I think so, but I'm definitely not sure. I would just call up your local Toyota dealer, or try a RAV4 forum. Yotatech is mostly pickups, 4Runners and Tacomas it seems.

yeah its a COP ignition so you will just have to remove the coil for each individual cylinder and then you can get to the spark plug underneath.
