vibration at highway speed

hello yotaheads, i just got luckey and found a 1 owner 93 std cab long bed with 97k for sale and pounced on it. pretty much everything on it is in perfect condition, with the exception of the 4 stock shocks i just replaced, all blown.
but it does have the problem of the entire cab vibrating at about 60+. it was there before i replaced the shocks and started at about 50+ then. i dont mind it too much as it keeps me from speeding and 80% of my driving is city, but it worrys me that something may be broken. i've had someone watch my wheels as im driving and they noticed that my right front tire was moving up and down. it needs an alightment bad too pulls to the left hard. i was going to try to find out what it is before i took it in so the alignment dosent get messed up. are there any common problems that would cause this? i dont so much feel it in the steering wheel, it does vibrate but about as much as the rest of the truck.

also, the speedo works on and off, but the odo always works. bad ground?
thanks

Have you checked your U-Joints?

have them check your tires while there at it cause if your wheels are out of balance it can also cause a similar effect.

Grab them and check for movement. pulling/pushing up and down/side to side near the u-joint is the easy way. or if it can twist a little with out moving the pinion or tranny side of the shaft then you probably have a bad u-joint.

when you take it in for the alignment ask to have the tech show you how to check the u-joints. i used to do this for customers when I ran a Goodyear store in Minnesota.
