valve cover gasket write up?
i plan on doing changing my valve cover gaskets tomorrow afternoon. problem is i can't find any write ups or instructions on how to do it. all i've found in the 3 hours of searching i've done the best info i can find is to get a fsm. i've downloaded one and looked at 3 others online and can't find anything about changing the valve cover gaskets. any help on this would be GREATLY appreciated. thanks.

In the 3 hours that you spent searching you could have had it done!
Take plenum off, take valve covers off, replace gaskets, put back together.
Just take pictures off all the vacuum lines before you take anything apart so you know how it goes back together.

There's a write up I followed, it wasn't a formal step by step write up but it had tons of pictures... https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/v...95/index2.html
I only replaced the valve cover gaskets and the plenum gasket because my pvc was in good shape and I left the throttle body attached to the plenum... It's not a hard job it's just time consuming because of all the stuff attached to the plenum

THis is for the 3vze so there's no half moon, the sealant is black rtv, it comes in small and big tubes, you only need a dab of it at each corner of the gasket so you won't need much, just label all your vacuum lines and you should be set, and take a lot of pics for reference in case you didn't label something or stuff like that
