Don`t go any bigger the 2 1/4'' on the exhaust pipe. When you do the throttle body swap post some pictures, im interested in seeing how it fits and if it will work or not on a 22RE.

Ill be posting an entire how to for my entire swap dont worry, with tons of pics. So far Iv adjusted the valves, swapped plugs with hotter burning and done the MAF/Battery Swap. Hopefully I get this all done this or next weekend. I just need more advice on how much to trick the MAF enough for what Im doing to get the right tune and how to set the timing just right. Hopefully with all these small mods I might be able to see 150-175 HP and Ill have a dyno at the end for everyone since this is about as far as you can go before getting really deep. Unless Im missing something.

If you got the correct AFM its lug and play and you don`t need to adjust it at all, leave it at the stock setting. The part number for the AFM is 22250-43110, if its a different number it won`t work. I don`t think you will be anywere near 150-175 HP, i think you will be lucky to see 130-140 HP. But that all depends on the size of the tires and the gearing you have.

It is plug and play but since I am running hotter plugs I need the ecu to shove more fuel in there and then because of everything else Im doing 60mm throttle body non slider linkage along with a 2.5"x2.0" AFM off the 7M-GE 1982 supra. Air flow will greatly incresce along with if somehow my cat gets ripped off. But then I run into do I need that back pressure from it. Also on a side note since Im going to have all of this off how hard is it to remove the EGR valve

For the RUFs you need 2 stock toyota packs. The rears have a softer spring rate, so you need to beef them up with the other pack. You just have to play with the leafs to make your own pack that works for you. RUfs are known for being low and flexy.

You also might have to weld on a new spring hanger. The stocks ones are not very strong, and will help with your pinion angle. Bannana shackles might be necessary to account for the longer springs, or you could weld the hanger a inch forward than stock. Should increase your wheelbase by 2-3 inches.

Pirate has a load if info on it. But as you found out, Just read dont post.

I post it just involves a lot of swearing. So use the old fronts in combination with the backs or just buy another set of backs for the front and call it a day and weld and mil some metal together.

2 sets of rears would be best, But the idea of RUFs is to work with what you have aka cheap.

There are lots of companies (sky and TG off the top of my head) that make hanger kits.

When you install the supra AFM you will be flowing a lot more air, so leave it stock and see how it runs, you can always open it up and richen it up a couple of notches if needed. I was thinking, you might have to have the inlet of the upper intake bored out because of the larger throttle body.

to everyone that posted
cheep is what Im going for but I cant seem to beat the 500-600 range for 4 leafs and 4 shocks and a hi steer.
For the supra intake Its 30 min north and the same place I'm getting the throttle body from and the supra has the 3" inlet intake that i want if i want to put a snorkel on, and for the intake being to small.

just 3" nothing special and possibly 1" body for ˟˟˟˟s and giggles just want to do it. I also redid my math around $475 right now for the lift kit. Is there a truck with shock absorbers that I can strip?
