Truck starts then dies

I have a 86 SR5 4Runner. When I got it there was not much to it and I am piecing it back together.
I am putting my new engine in, and I had it started a few times, now when I go to start it, it starts then dies right away.

I have alot of spare parts so I started swapping out stuff. I did the AFM,coil/ignitor,dist and the injector relay that is on the passenger side fender well. None of this has helped??I am going to pick up a fuel filter tomorrow.
I can't find the diagnostic port. This would help me solve the other problems if I could.
The struck was pretty tore up when I got it so someone might have hacked the wirring up.I thought it should be in one of these two places:

I do not see it

I checked and the air tube from the throttle body to the AFM has no leaks. I am at a loss as to what I should do next.

I also need to know what these two plugs are for. They are right above the ECU.

Thanks for any help, Bob

And try the fuel pump test jumper:

Sounds like fuel like 4Crawler said, but is your timing and idle set correctly?

well, The thing about setting my timing and testing the fuel pump is that I have no diagnostic port.

I went by the wrecking yard today to see if I could find some 4runners like mine with a complete wiring harness. I found several from the years 86-88 that have the same setup as mine, which is no port in the place that 4crawler suggested. The diagnostic port is inline on the harness that goes to the injectors. The thing is that they were all gone except one and the yard did not want to pull it.

So I guess I need to find a harness somewhere.

Thanks, Bob

Update:

Like I said I got the Runner as a pile of parts. Turns out it had the wrong loom from the ECM and that is why I could not find the diagnostic box.

I got the right one for it and know it starts and runs but very rough. I am going to check all the vacuum lines and make sure all the injectors are firing tomorrow.

At least know I can get the codes and go from there. Thanks for the advice!
