Toyota Factory Replacement bed
Hey everybody first post so if the question im asking has been asked and answered I appoligise. Did some reading butt didnt see it. Alot to read. Im wondering if you can still buy a factory bed for an 85 excab from Toyota. I cant seem to get a response from BG fiberglass and would prefer a steel bed. Dont know to much about fiberglass. I know the bed rust is as common of a prob as the 22RE timing chain prob so hopfully some one knows. Any info or advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks

You are not going to find a factory bed from the dealer, seriously doubt it and if you could it would cost more than the truck did new probably. Used, flatbed or fiberglass are probably your only options.

Sorry if you tot I was talking to you kid.
But you should know, timing chains are not a common problem on R's.
And who ever told you that was prolly someone who's never changed one.
Saying 22R's have common chain problems are just like me saying, "Yeah, those dang Toyota's! They won't run long without oil in them..."
Sorry I made it sound like I was talking about you.
