awesome. That's exactly what I was wanting to do. Seems so ridiculous to be turning all that stuff on the pavement. Thanks!

is this info true on a 03 taco as well... I always thought I had to swap the shafts or some crap like that???

Yep, more work involved on the Tacoma pickups and 3rd gen 4Runners. Search for some write-ups.

Can I still use 4lo though? I want 2wd, 4lo and 4hi and I want to do the conversion. But was wondering if I'd lose 4lo by doing it.

Sure, no problem there. In fact you can even have a bonus gear. With the hubs unlocked and the case in 4L to you have 2L, lock the hubs and you have 4L. With the stock ADD setup, it's like you have permanently locked front hubs (i.e. the drive flanges). If you swap to manual hubs and leave them locked all the time, you've made no change in the system, it works exactly the same as before.
